The Bar Council of India (BCI) is likely to start the registration process for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) from the next month. The BCI helpdesk announced earlier today. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to submit their application forms at the official website of AIBE at allindiabarexamination.com.
The BCI is scheduled to announce the dates for AIBE 18 soon. The registration process will include filling up of the application form, uploading of documents, and payment of the application fee. After the completion of the registration process, BCI will issue the admit card and important instructions for candidates on the official website.
AIBE 18 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a graduate degree in law (3-year LLB and 5-year LLB) from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the AIBE exam.
- Law graduates must have a valid enrollment certificate. They are required to qualify the AIBE exam within two years of enrollment at any of the state bar councils.
AIBE exam is conducted in an offline mode in 50 cities across the country. While filling out the application form, candidates will be able to choose any three exam centres of their choice. The question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions based on the syllabus prescribed by BCI.
The exam will be held for law graduates to get the Certificate of Practice (CoP) to practice law. AIBE 17 results 2023 were declared on 28 April. The BCI withheld the results of candidates who appeared in Rajkot exam centres over the use of unfair means.
