5 Guidelines for UGC NET 2024 Exam Day

ID Proof: Carry the admit card and a valid photo ID. Ensure the name on the ID matches the admit card.

Arrival: Reach the exam centre at least two hours before the exam to complete registration and frisking. Registration desks close 30 minutes prior to the exam.

Seating: Candidates must sit in their assigned seats only.

Prohibited Items: Electronic devices and accessories must not be carried inside the exam hall.

Question Paper Check: Verify that the question paper matches the subject indicated on the admit card. Report any discrepancies to the invigilator.
The exam covers 83 subjects and will be held in two shifts: the first from 9.30AM to 12.30PM and the second from 3PM to 6PM. The examination will be held offline using OMR sheets across 360 centres nationwide.
