The Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET 2023) registration form submission period will end today, 5 April 2023, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The official website, dbt.nta.ac.in, or through nta.ac.in must be used to apply for postgraduate (PG) programmes in biotechnology and related fields at participating institutes.

The registration fee for the GAT-B or BET 2023 examinations is Rs 1,200 for general category applicants, and Rs 600 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants. If a candidate wants to take both tests, they will have to pay two registration fees.

The computer-based test (CBT) version of the GAT-B will be conducted on 23 April 2023 for a duration of 3 hours. The GAT-B test will take place in the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the BET exam will take place in the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

  • Register on the website to generate credentials
  • Login to the portal with the credentials
  • Fill out the application form
  • Upload the relevant documents
  • Pay the application fee
  • Submit the application form, download it as a PDF & take a printout as well for future reference
