The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) released the second round of seat allocation for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic year 2023 on 9 June 2023. Candidates who appeared and registered for the admission process will be able to check the NIFT 2nd allocation list by visiting the official website- nift.ac.in.

The NIFT Round 1 seat allotment was issued on 1 June and candidates were allowed to pay the fees till 6 June.

“A special quota of 35% seats in NIFT Srinagar (J&K) shall be reserved for eligible candidates of union territories of Kashmir, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmiri migrants. Domicile quota seats, not filled after the first round of Seat Allocation may be transferred to the respective categories if there are no eligible Domicile quota candidates,” the official website read.

NIFT Round 2 Seat Allocation List: Steps to download

  1. Go to the official website- niftadmissions.in
  2. On the homepage, under the “Notices/Announcements”, click on the second seat allotment list for regular UG, PG candidates
  3. A new page will appear showing the NIFT Round 2 seat allocation list
  4. Check and download the same for future reference

Candidates should download their provisional allotment letter from the admission portal using their login credentials. Students shortlisted will have to pay the fees by 13 June. “Fees will be accepted only through online mode. Any other mode of payment will not be accepted,” the institute informed.
