From 28 April 2023 to 8 May 2023, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is hosting an online counselling enrollment period for NIFT 2023. Regarding some candidates' NIFT 2023 counselling registrations with fewer preferences than they should have, the institute has issued a circular.
"It is observed that some candidates have filled in very few preferences," the notice stated. Candidates who haven't filled out as many preferences are advised to do so as soon as possible, preferably by May 8, 2023, up until 12 a.m. The choices made will be applied to all rounds of seat assignment. After May 8, 2023, no requests for edits or revisions to the course or campus preferences will be considered.
Eligible candidates must complete the registration form and indicate their academic interests in order to register for NIFT 2023 counselling. An "academic programme" is the combination of an academic program/course and campus when discussing seat allocation.
Based on their NIFT 2023 merit rank, candidates will be shortlisted for NIFT 2023 counselling. Seat allocation will take into account variables such the candidate's category, merit rank, seat intake, and choices made during choice filling. The NIFT 2023 seat acceptance fee is INR 1,83,200.
