The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added two doctors of medicine master of chirurgiae (MCh) seats in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS) counselling 2022 round-2 seat matrix.
The counselling authority has taken the decision after receiving information from Lok Nayak Hospital, associated with Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) about seats that could not be contributed by the college before the start of NEET SS round-1 counselling 2022.
Therefore, MCC includes 2 seats in the MCh neurosurgery programme in the seat matrix of round 2 of SS counselling 2022 to prevent the wastage of precious super speciality seats. "For any details regarding the course w.r.t Fee/ Stipend/ Bond etc. the Nodal Officer may be contacted as given in the college profile," said the MCC notice.
MCC declared the NEET SS round-1 final result on 9 December 2022. The authority also added one seat in the MCh urology programme at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences on 29 December 2022.
