The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to officially commence the second round registration process for NEET MDS 2024 shortly. The counselling process will be conducted in three rounds, followed by a stray round. Candidates will be able to start registering and filling in their choice of colleges and courses through the official MCC website as soon as the round 2 link is activated.
With the declaration of seat allotment results for the first round, MCC had also opened the resignation facility for all those candidates who had submitted requests for resignation from their allotted seats. The online resignation facility will remain functional till 6 PM today, i.e., July 22.
“Candidates will have to visit the allotted college to vacate their allotted seats and Institutes should ensure that all resignations are entered in the portal of MCC failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’”, the official notification stated.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and have a valid rank card from NEET MDS 2024 along with other relevant documents and certificates.
NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Steps
- Registration and Online Application - Visit the MCC website and register for counselling. Pay the counselling fee online and proceed to fill out the application form.
- Choice Filling and Locking - Select your preferred colleges and institutes in order of preference. Lock your choices after careful consideration.
- Seat Allotment - The official seat allotment list will be released based on candidate rank, choices, and seat availability.
- Document Verification and Reporting - Download the allotment letter and visit the designated medical/dental college for document verification. Upon successful verification, proceed to pay the admission fees at the allotted college.
Candidates wishing to seek admission to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes at private and government dental colleges/universities across India for the academic year 2024-2024 must appear for the counselling process and admission formalities afterward.
