The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on 16 August opened the choice-filling window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling round-1. Candidates can visit the official website- mcc.nic.in, to fill the choices.
Applicants who had registered for NEET UG 2024 first phase of counselling 15 per cent all India quota (AIQ) seats will be able to enter choices by 20 August (11:55 pm), confirm the colleges and lock it between 4 pm and 11:55 pm of 20 August.
MCC informed, choices should be in the order of preference, as allotment to medical college will be done on the basis of choices submitted by the qualified candidates. The MCC has advised the medical aspirants to download the ‘Sandes’ app to receive updates regarding NEET UG counselling.
As per the schedule, the round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on 23 August. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute between 24 and 29 August. MCC NEET UG counselling for the AIQ seats will be held in four rounds this year — AIQ round 1, round 2, round 3 and an online stray vacancy round. For round 2 of the NEET UG counselling, the registration process will begin on 5 September and continue till 10 September (12 noon).
