The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment result for the Stray Vacancy Round in the NEET UG Counselling 2024. Candidates awaiting their final seat placements in MBBS, BDS, and BSc(Nursing) programmes across India can now check their provisional allotment status on the MCC website.
Candidates who find any discrepancies in their provisional results must report them immediately to the MCC of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Reports can be submitted by 11 AM today, i.e., October 30, 2024, through the official email address, mccresultquery@gmail.com. After this deadline, the provisional result will be deemed final, and no further corrections will be entertained.
Steps to Check the Provisional Seat Allotment Result
- Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
- Navigate to the “UG Counselling” tab on the homepage.
- Click on stray vacancy provisional allotment result link.
- The result will be displayed in a pdf format.
- Check and download the provisional allotment list for reference.
The MCC has clarified that the provisional result serves as an initial allotment and is subject to change. This provisional list does not grant any legal rights to the seat, nor can it be challenged in any court. Candidates are advised to wait for the final result announcement before proceeding to their allotted colleges or institutions.
Once the final results are released, successful candidates should download their allotment letter and follow the specified guidelines on reporting to their allotted colleges. Any failure to report on time or discrepancies in documentation may lead to the forfeiture of their seat.
