Post-Allotment Options for Candidates

  • Freeze: Opting for "freeze" signifies that candidates are satisfied with their allotted seat and plan to accept it without exploring further options. They must complete the admission process by submitting the required documents and fees.
  • Float: Selecting "float" allows candidates to keep their current seat while exploring possible upgrades in subsequent rounds if a preferred seat becomes available.
  • Slide: By choosing "slide," candidates can retain their current seat but remain open to being shifted to a higher-preference course within the same institution.

Candidates must confirm their choice within the stipulated time frame as mentioned in the KEA's timetable. Failure to take any action during the specified period may lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
