In a recent announcement, NLU Delhi had informed the candidates about the reduction in the number of exam centres for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025, dropping from 35 to 31 locations. This decision was made due to an insufficient number of registered candidates in select cities, as according to the official information bulletin, test centres will not be set up in locations where the number of candidates is fewer than 100. The four cities that have been excluded from the exam centre list are Kota, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Shimla, and Siliguri.

Candidates who had selected any of the four removed cities as their first preference can update their test city preferences by visiting the AILET 2025 portal and re-selecting their choices. Failure to do so will result in reassigning centres according to their second or third preferred city for the exam.
