Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will be conducting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 examination for admission to professional courses on 20 May and 21 May. The Kannada language exam will be conducted on 22 May 2023 for Horanadu and Gadinadu (other state and border regions) Kannadiga candidates at selected centres.
KEA will soon release the KCET 2023 notification and information brochure on the official website-- kea.kar.nic.in. The KCET 2023 information brochure will consist of the application form date, KCET exam date, syllabus, eligibility criteria, exam fee etc.

KCET exam mode: Pen-Paper based exam (Offline)
KCET sessions:
Session 1 - Mathematics
Session 2 - Physics
Session 3 - Chemistry
Medium of KCET exam: English or Kannada
KCET exam duration: 80 minutes (1 Hour 20 min.)
KCET question type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)
KCET total questions: 180 questions (60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Maths)
KCET marking scheme: Each question carry 1 mark
Candidates must note, there is no negative marking scheme.
The candidates who wish to appear for the KCET 2023 exam should meet the basic eligibility criteria. Candidate should have passed 2nd PUC (class 12) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics compulsory subjects. Apart from compulsory subjects, the candidate must have optional subjects among - Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, and Electronic with a language subject English.
