The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to conclude round 2 registrations for the Karnataka National Eligibility Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2023 counselling tomorrow.
In response to the lowered qualifying percentile in NEET PG MDS 2023 for postgraduate dental seats, including for in-service candidates, the NEET MDS portal was reopened for registration, document verification, and seat allotment.
KEA stated, "The PG Dental candidates, including in-service candidates, who are now eligible due to the lowered qualifying percentile, can register, submit their applications online, and pay the fees from 2 pm on 24-09-2023 to 25-09-2023 before 11.59 pm. This will make them eligible to participate in the second-round seat allotment for available PG Dental seats, alongside other eligible candidates."
Candidates newly eligible for Karnataka NEET PG MDS counselling round 2 are required to submit their application fees by 11.59 pm tomorrow. Furthermore, PG dental candidates who were previously eligible but did not register can now complete the application process.
The newly registered candidates must appear for document verification at KEA, Bangalore, on September 26 to be eligible for seat allotment.
Non-Karnataka candidates who have newly registered need not appear for document verification at KEA on September 26. However, if they have claimed NRI ward or Minority Religious (CHRISTIAN / MUSLIM) status, they must appear for document verification on 26-09-2023, as per KEA's notification.
All physically disabled candidates who gained eligibility due to the lowered NEET PG cutoff must undergo a medical examination, along with presenting relevant certificates and ID cards, on September 25, 2023, at 11 am at KEA's Bangalore office.
