The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) session 1 exam from tomorrow, January 24. Candidates appearing for the exam are reminded to bring their JEE Main admit card 2024 and a valid ID proof for entry into the exam hall. The session 1 exam will be conducted in two shifts, with the first shift from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
It must further be noted that tomorrow's examination is specifically for candidates who have applied for the BArch and BPlanning paper, with JEE Mains paper 2 scheduled for the second shift. The official commencement of JEE Main paper 1 exams is scheduled for January 27. Admit cards for JEE Main 2024 can be downloaded from the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Essential Documents and Items for JEE Main 2024:
1. Printed copy of JEE Main 2024 admit card and a self-declaration (undertaking) downloaded from the NTA official website.
2. One passport-size photograph similar to the one uploaded in the application form.
3. Original ID for verification purposes (school Identity card, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, or Aadhaar card).
4. PwD category candidates must present the PwD certificate issued by an authorised medical officer if claiming relaxation.
5. Black or blue ball pen.
6. Transparent water bottle.
