The second edition of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) for BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning programmes admission is all set to begin from today, 6 April. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2023 session 2 exam at nearly 330 cities in the country and 15 cities outside.
Applicants who will give their JEE Mains 2023 exam today must further have downloaded and taken a print of all pages of the JEE Main 2023 hall ticket to carry them to the main examination centre. It must further be noted that applicants will also have to follow a certain JEE Main 2023 dress code.
JEE Main 2023 dress code:
- Applicants appearing for the exams starting today will not be allowed to carry any metallic objects to the examination centre.
- They must even avoid wearing any kind of jewellery and ornaments. Any type of electronic watches will also not be permitted in the examination centre.
- Applicants wearing Kara or Kirpan owing to religious reasons must report to the examination centre an hour before the gate closing time
- Applicants will not be allowed to cover their heads with cap, dupatta, etc unless it is a customary dress for which they must have taken a prior permission
