The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially announced the timetable for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, the exams will be conducted in two sessions each day. Aspiring candidates can access the timetable on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

GATE 2025 will be conducted over two weekends, with sessions divided as follows:

  • Forenoon Session: 9.30AM to 12.30PM
  • Afternoon Session: 2.30PM to 5.30PM

The examination will feature a total of 30 test papers, and candidates are permitted to appear for one or two test papers of their choice.

  • 2:30PM to 5:30PM: CS2, NM, MT, TF, IN
  • February 2, 2025:
  • 9:30AM to 12:30PM: ME, PE, AR
  • 2:30PM to 5:30PM: EE
  • February 15, 2025:
  • 9:30AM to 12:30PM: CY, AE, DA, ES, PI
  • 2:30PM to 5:30PM: EC, GE, XH, BM, EY
  • February 16, 2025:

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern

The paper will feature three types of questions to assess candidates' skills:

  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Only one correct option among four choices.
  • Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): One or more correct options among four choices.
  • Numerical Answer Type (NAT): Candidates must input numerical answers using a virtual keypad.
