Candidates must register on the GATE online application processing system (GOAPS), goaps.iisc.ac.in, if they have to pay the late fee. From October 6, late fees will be assessed. Those who don't register by the deadline will still be able to submit their application through October 13 by paying an additional fee. The late fee varies depending on the category. As a result, candidates will be required to pay additional fees based on the category they chose.
If necessary, the institute will allow applicants to make changes to the information on their completed application form. Candidates, however, will only be able to change some information they've already entered after paying a correction charge.
The official GATE 2024 website stated, "There will be no return of any fee, other than for duplicate purchases. From November 4 to November 11, the GATE application correction window will be active.
GATE 2024: Registration With Late Fee
- Female, SC, ST, PwD candidates: INR 1400
- General, OBC and all other candidates including foreign nationals: INR 2300
