Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, will close the online registration for the joint Admission Test for Masters, JAM 2024, today, on October 20. Those candidates who are yet to complete their registration for IIT JAM 2024, are advised to register themselves on the official website of JAM at jam.iitm.ac.in by the end of the deadline.
The application for the Joint Admission Test began on September 5 and the last date for submission of application was originallyOctober 13, 2023. However, it was extended till October 20.
The exam is scheduled to be held on February 11, 2024, while the admit card for the same will be issued on January 8, 2024. The result of the admission test is set to be declared on March 22, 2024.
The exam will be conducted in a computer-based format. The candidates will have to appear in seven different test papers, namely Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH)
The duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Candidates will have to answer 60 questions, carrying a total of 100 marks.
Application Fee
For appearing in one Test Paper candidates will have pay an application fee of Rs 1,800 while for two test papers the application fee is Rs 2500.
Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates, on the other hand will have to pay Rs 900 for one test paper while they will have to pay Rs 2500 for two test papers.
