The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has concluded registration for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2024 today, on October 13. Applicants who have not yet applied can still submit their IIT JAM 2024 application through the official website: jam.iitm.ac.in.
Eligibility criteria state that candidates who hold an undergraduate degree or are in their final year of undergraduate programs are eligible to apply for the PG entrance exam. There is no age limit, and even foreign nationals with Indian degrees can apply.
For a single test paper, students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and female candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 900. All other applicants are required to submit Rs 1,800.
JAM 2024 is scheduled for February 11, 2024, aiming to facilitate admissions to postgraduate programs in the IITs and participating institutes. The exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test, offering seven test papers, including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH).
JAM 2024 scores will play a crucial role in securing admission to 3,000 PG seats across 21 IITs for the academic session 2024-25.
