IGNOU extends application deadline for PhD admissions - Apply till November 25

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the application deadline for PhD admissions at the university. Candidates can apply for the PhD admission at the official website ignouadm.samarth.edu.in.

The application process is presently underway and candidates will now be able to submit their applications till November 25.

Candidates who have qualified JRF, will be admitted to on the basis of interviews. Students from general categories must have obtained 55 percent marks in their Master's degree, while the score for reserved category candidates is 50 percent.

Apart from this, 5 percent of the total seats has been reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with at least 40 percent disability.

Application fee

Candidates applying for IGNOU PhD admission will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000.

Step 2: Register yourself by clicking on 'New Registration'

Step 3: Register yourself by providing necessary details

Step 4: Enter your user name and password to login to your account

Step 5: Fill up the application form by providing a information

Step 6: Upload necessary documents

Step 7: Pay application fee and submit the application

Step 8: Download and take a printout of the submitted application for future reference
