The Campus Placement Cell (CPC) of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that a campus placement drive will be held on 29 November 2022. Candidates who are interested must register at ignou.ac.in, the official IGNOU website.
The IGNOU placement drive will take place at the Convention Center on the IGNOU Campus in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. The reporting window for placement is from 9.30 to 10:30 am. After that, at 11 am, there will be a pre-placement discussion.
The job of academic counsellor will be permanent, hence the placement drive. Candidates must be graduates from an accredited university and have a minimum of 2 years of work experience to be considered for this post. The age limit for the post is 18 to 35 years old.
The selection process will include a round of group discussions and an interview with business and HR personnel. Candidates must take two copies of their most recent resume/CV and IGNOU ID card (two copies).
Selected candidates will undertake a comprehensive training programme before to starting work where they will learn counselling techniques, product knowledge, communication skills, and details regarding the company's internal technical system. Candidates must pass the New Hire Classroom Program and Nest OJT parts of this training in order to progress. If candidates fail this training, the organisation may opt to either redeploy them or take other appropriate measures in accordance with HR policy.
