The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana has officially opened registration for the 2023 National Merit cum Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS). Eligible students are invited to submit their applications on the official websites, bseh.org.in and scertharyana.gov.in. The deadline for scholarship applications is set for October 10.
To be eligible for NMMS in Haryana, students must be currently enrolled in Class 8 at a government or government-aided school and have previously completed Class 7 in a government school. Additionally, students' parental income should not exceed Rs 3,50,000 from all sources.
The NMMS 2023 examination is scheduled for November 19, running from 11 am to 2 pm. Admit cards will be made available on the official websites approximately 10 days before the exam.
How to Register for Haryana NMMS 2023:
1. Visit the official website, bseh.org.in.
2. Click on the scholarship registration link.
3. Provide basic details and complete the registration process.
4. Log in to your account and fill out the application form.
5. Upload the necessary documents.
6. Download the completed form and print a copy for your records.
The scholarship examination will consist of two sections: the mental ability test and the scholastic ability test. Each section comprises 90 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying one mark. To pass the exam, students must achieve a minimum score of 36 marks in each section. It is important to note that there will be no negative marking in the examination.
