GATE 2023: Link activates for subject-wise mock tests; check steps to access here

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) activated the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) mock test link. Candidates who have registered for GATE 2023 exam will be able to take the GATE mock test 2023 by visiting the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in.

Candidates will have to select the specific GATE question paper on which they wish to take a mock test. The mock test will be based on the GATE 2022 paper from last year. It targets to familiarise the students with the exam pattern and nature.

“The exam environment is very similar to what you will experience during the actual exam (GATE 2023). However, there may be certain changes in the final version of the exam. Also, some of the features may not be enabled in the current links,” said IIT Kanpur.

Steps to access GATE mock test 2023:

1. Visit the IIT-K GATE official website- gate.iitk.ac.in
2. On the homepage, click on the mock test link
3. Select the link of the mock paper appearing for
4. Login portal will open
5. Key in the login details and click ‘Sign in’
6. GATE mock test 2023 question papers will appear
7. The test will have a dedicated time and the exam will be over when the time stops

As per schedule, GATE 2023 exam will take place on 4, 5, 11 and 12 February 2023. The total duration of the GATE 2023 mock test is 180 minutes, same as the actual examination. The question paper will have two sections - subject specific section consisting of the question of 85 marks and the General Aptitude (GA) of 15 marks.
