According to the timetable, the examination will be conducted in two shifts:
- Paper I (Code No. 01): 10AM to noon - General Ability and Intelligence
- Paper II (Code No. 02): 2PM to 5PM - General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension
Vacancy Breakup
- Border Security Force (BSF): 186 vacancies
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF): 120 vacancies
- Central Industrial Security Force (CISF): 100 vacancies
- Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP): 58 vacancies
- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB): 42 vacancies
Eligibility Criteria
- Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the position of Assistant Commandant.
- Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens or non-citizens who have obtained consent from the Central Government.
- The age criteria require candidates to be at least 20 years old and not more than 25 years old.
- Educational qualifications include holding at least a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
With the examination date confirmed, UPSC will release the admit cards for the test soon on upsc.gov.in.
