The Delhi Medical Council has declared a list of recognised institutes for FMG's internship. A total of 587 seats are now available, said DMC.

"This is for the attention of all Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) applying for an internship to the Delhi Medical Council, for allocation of Internship Rotations in stand-alone PG institutes imparting DNB training under dNB-PDCET, in NCT of Delhi, as per directives of the National Medical Commission (circular dated May 9, 2023). They are hereby informed that they will not be eligible for any stipend during their internships in any of these institutes. The process of allocation of seats will be through Delhi Medical Council," as mentioned in the official notification.

The details include - 142 (Govt) seats in DDU Hospital, Hari Nagar, Delhi, 70 (Govt) seats in ESI Hospital, Bsaidarapur, 150 (Govt) seats in Hindu Rao Hospital Delhi, 40 (Govt) seats in Northern Railway Hospital Delhi, 30 (Govt) seats in RML Hospital, 20 (Private) in Batra Hospital, 25 (Private) in BLK Kapoor Hospital, 40 (Private) in Holy Family Hospital, 20 (Private) seats in Jaipur Golden, 30 (Private) seats in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and 20 (Private) seats in St Stephen Hospital.

Recently, NMC released detailed clarification on this issue. It said that an eligible FMG can complete their internship from any state/UT if found eligible otherwise, the state shall not provide seats as per domicile criteria. Also, two years CRMI is only for those FMGs who returned to the country due to the Ukraine-Russia war or the Covid-19 pandemic.
