Initially scheduled to close on November 21, 2023 the extension allows candidates more time to secure their places in this crucial legal education entrance exam. Successful applicants are required to report to their allotted colleges between November 29 and December 2, with classes commencing on December 4, 2023.

A notable 43,692 candidates registered for the TS LAWCET exam, out of which 36,218 appeared, and an impressive 29,049 successfully qualified this year.
For those in the general category, a minimum of 35% or 42 marks out of the total 120 marks in the entrance test is required to be eligible for TS LAWCET Phase 1 counselling. However, SC and ST candidates have no minimum qualifying marks for ranking.
