Candidates appearing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions to undergraduate courses have been allowed to make changes in their online application form till May 31, National Testing Agency (NTA) said in a circular on May 25.
According to the notification, the correction window will remain open till 9pm on May 31, and the candidates have been requested to visit the NTA website and verify their particulars within the deadline.
NTA will not entertain any requests for corrections in application forms after May 31, it said in its circular, adding that the correction window for candidates will remain open from May 25 to May 31 as an extended on-time facility to ensure that they do not face “hardships” in future.
Candidates will have to pay an additional fee for making changes in their application. They can make the payment via debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI, the NTA notification said.
NTA will conduct the first CUET (UG) this year for admissions to undergraduate courses in 45 central universities and some state universities across India. So far, most of the central universities either gave admissions on the basis of Class XII scores or conducted their own entrance tests for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
