The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date of registration for the CTET exam. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications will be able to apply till April 5 (till 11.59 pm)
Candidates will be able to submit their applications online at the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in. Earlier, the last date for submission of online application was April 2.
The exam will be conducted on July 7, 2024 in 136 cities across the country in twenty languages.
How to apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link mentioning 'Apply for CTET July 2024
Step 3: Register yourself by providing all necessary details
Step 4: Login using your registration number and other credentials
Step 5: Fill in the application form
Step 6: Pay application fee
Step 7: Download and take a print out of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee
General and OBC categories - Rs 1000 for one paper and 1,200 for both papers
SC/ST/PwD - Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers
Exam pattern
The will be two papers in the exam. While Paper 1 will be for candidates willing to teach in classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 will be for candidates willing to teach in classes 6 to 8.
