In a significant development, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat has announced a change in the examination dates for the Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. The decision comes in the wake of heavy rainfall affecting several parts of Gujarat.
Originally scheduled for July 27 and July 28, 2024, the Gujarat PGCET 2024 will now be conducted on August 3 and August 4, 2024. This decision has been taken to ensure the safety and convenience of all candidates considering the adverse weather conditions.
“Further counselling schedule with the revised PGCET2024 examination dates will be published on 30th July 2024 after reviewing weather situation on committee website,” the official notification additionally stated.
It must be noted by the registered candidates that all existing hall tickets, examination slot timings, and examination centers will remain unchanged. Only the exam dates have been revised.
The Gujarat PGCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the ACPC for admission to various postgraduate programmes offered by colleges and universities in Gujarat.
