The 2nd Edition of the Annual Food Fest of the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Kolkata, surpassed all expectations, on 1st and 2nd of February 2024, from 12 pm to 5:30 p.m. UEM as well as IEM students, faculties and staff witnessed an extraordinary celebration of culinary delight and cultural exchange. From the moment attendees stepped foot into the basketball Court of UEM Newtown campus, they were greeted with an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The central theme for FoodcaFiesta'24 this year was the essence of "Sohor Kolkata."
It was organised by the collaborative efforts of the Business Administration Department and the BHM Department of UEM Kolkata, FoodcaFiesta'24 was not just a celebration of food but also a celebration of the talent and creativity of the next generation of culinary leaders.
From budding chefs to aspiring entrepreneurs, young minds brought fresh perspectives and innovative dishes to the table, enriching the festival with their energy and passion. Their fusion cuisines to innovative twists on classic recipes, the dishes reflected a blend of tradition and innovation, showcasing the future of gastronomy.
As FoodCaFiesta'24 drew to a close, attendees departed with hearts full of memories and stomachs satisfied with delicious food. The presence of Foodzpah and BhojAdda the famous food vloggers added an extra layer of excitement and celebrity glamour to the event, ensuring that it would be remembered as a truly unforgettable culinary extravaganza.
Not only foods, the fest had created an atmosphere with live music performances, beautiful dance performances, and other forms of entertainment. FoodCaFiesta'24 kept their promises to engage and entertain their visitors.
