The event, organised by the Xavier's Finance Community, saw enthusiastic participation from over 600 participants representing esteemed institutions nationwide, including Shri Ram College of Commerce, IIT Kharagpur and BITS Pilani. This event signalled a monumental stride towards nurturing financial literacy and expertise amongst the next generation.
Bullpen’s rigorous format, spanning four electrifying rounds, tested the mettle of participants' financial acumen and strategic finesse. From an intense online quiz challenging their depth of knowledge to navigating real time business simulations in the crisis round, contestants were pushed to their limits, showcasing their ability to thrive under pressure.
Advancing from the initial rounds, the top 50 teams had to craft compelling 3-slide pitches, while enacting the role of financial advisors to retail investors. Each presentation meticulously outlined a company's financial strength, operational efficiency and competitive edge, setting the stage for the grand finale.

In the climactic showdown held at St Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, the top 8 teams dazzled a distinguished panel of judges, including financial luminary Kunal Saraogi, a prominent financial literacy campaigner noted for his television appearances and CA Parth Verma, a renowned alumnus of the prestigious NYU Stern School of Business. Their discerning eyes scrutinised each pitch, evaluating not only financial acumen but also the art of persuasive communication.

Emerging triumphant, Vedant Somani and Siddharth Khandelwal from St Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, clinched the coveted Bullpen 2024 Champion title, while Yash Tulsian (SXC) and Rajavi Agarwal (SRCC) secured the first runners-up position, closely followed by Naman Gupta and Ekta Agarwal from BITS Pilani.
