He spoke about the importance of the ABC Curriculum and how it will help the students in near future. He mentioned the different categories in which the ABC Curriculum would be divided in the upcoming Curriculum, viz, Scholastic, Impulse, Vigor, and Skills. Under 'Scholastic', along with the pre-existing structure, three new sets of categories have been added, viz., Sanskrit as Indian Language, French as Foreign Language, and Financial Literacy. This will not only help the students become more independent, but also help them touch new horizons in life. Under 'Impulse', the school will focus on music, art, dance, quiz, nature and much more, while under 'vigor', the focus will be on activities like yoga, meditation, karate, chess, and carrom. Last but not the least, under 'Skills', Etiquette, Grooming and the Communication Skills of the students will be looked into. All these will help in a holistic and cognitive development of a student. He also envisaged the fact that this curriculum would make students leaders. The new curriculum was appreciated by the parents, who were part of the audience. The inclusion of Sanskrit, French, and Financial Literacy as subjects would only enhance the already spectacular ABC Curriculum of St. Augustine's Day School, Shyamnagar.
