"In the current scenario, only educating students is not enough. It is our responsibility to make them future-ready. Hence, through several programmes we provide them training to make them employment ready. This career fair is one such initiative," said Dr Srabanti Bhattacharya, Principal of Rani Birla Girls' College.
"Many students don't think about the career they would be pursuing after completing graduation. Through this fair, we are trying to make students understand the importance of choosing a career for themselves," she added.
Several firms attended the career fair and engaged with the students to make them aware of the career opportunities before them and the skills they require to fit into those job profiles.
