The Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) held its 14th convocation ceremony on Monday, March 4. The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests including Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, Union Minister of State for Education Dr Subhash Sarkar among others.
At the occasion, Governor Ramesh Bais congratulated the graduating students and inspired them to turn ideas into realities and become job givers instead of job seekers. This according to him, will create a pool of jobs where India will witness reverse migration.

He also commended the growth of PIBM from its inception in 2007, urging students to look at the growth story of Germany and Japan which have recovered from the huge setbacks of the Second World War and concluded his speech by inspiring the students to be lifelong learners in this dynamic age of AI.

Dr Subhash Sarkar, while attending the conference virtually, underscored the importance of education in identifying and finding sustainable solutions to business problems.
The event was also attended by business heads like Angelo George, CEO of Bisleri, D S Sachdeva, the Executive Director of Weikfield, Prasad Wagh, Managing Director of Japfa Comfeed India, Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur anf Prof Raman Preet, Chairman of PIBM Group of Institute.

A total of 682 students were awarded Degrees including 323 MBA and 359 PGDM, across various specializations. Sixteen students received Gold Medals, while 49 were honoured for academic excellence.

Prof Raman Preet, drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda, emphasized on individual destiny and applauded the resilience of the 'Special Batch of 2021-23' amidst the challenges of COVID-19. He showcased PIBM's commitment to global education through the Global MBA program, fostering collaborations with esteemed B-schools worldwide.
