In Bhubaneswar’s DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, a young student has emerged as a beacon of inspiration. Subhankar Das, a brilliant and innovative achiever currently in Class X, has not only consistently topped his class but has also clinched numerous accolades in both academic and co-scholastic arenas. His journey from curiosity to exceptional achievements is nothing short of remarkable.
From a young age, Subhankar exhibited an unmatched curiosity about the inner workings of the world around him. This thirst for knowledge led him to actively participate in science fairs during his middle school years, setting the stage for a series of prestigious victories. Notably, Subhankar secured a coveted spot as a Top Ten Finalist at the Young Scientist India 2022 competition, a remarkable feat considering there were 3000 entries from across India. His innovative ideas were further recognised when he clinched the Best Prototype Award at the Young Creators League, a National Level Innovation Contest.
Subhankar's accomplishments extended beyond the school boundaries as he was selected as a Young Tech Scholar and a Youth Delegate, serving as a Global Ambassador at Youth Ideathon. Additionally, he had been selected to hold prestigious position of Campus Ambassador at the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT, Guwahati, along with campus executive for the entrepreneurship cell at IIT, Bombay.
These platforms opened doors for Subhankar to explore and refine his creative ideas, making him the youngest delegate from India to participate in a 6-day Management Development Program organised by CSIR-IMMT & NIMSME, Hyderabad.
Subhankar's journey of innovation didn't stop there. He went on to develop several groundbreaking projects, including the Dynamic Rover for Impactful Futuristic Transformation (DRIFT) and Project CHUNRI, showcasing his commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
