What is it: A progressive music concert organised by Ayushmaan Chatterjee, Saptarshi P. Basu and Sayan Mukherjee. The line-up includes Kolkata-based bands Universe in a Crayon, Ronin, IN, Trees for Toothpicks, and 13th Notion. Darjeeling-based band If Hope Dies promises to spice up the last day of the month.

“You don’t get to hear of progressive music concerts in Kolkata. Prognosis aims at promoting independent progressive musicians and bands. There are a lot of progressive bands in India. They do not get platforms because it’s not mainstream music. From next year we plan to invite bands from all over the country,” said Ayushmaan, a third-year BBA student of Techno India Salt Lake.
