In a major achievement, KIIT-DU has secured an impressive 4th position in India in top Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025. Worldwide, the institute has featured among the top 100 universities with an impressive rank of 92 in the category.
KIIT is one of the four Indian universities (both private and public) to feature among the top 100 universities globally.

This recognition by Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025 underscores KIIT University's commitment to fostering interdisciplinary research and innovation.
Dr Samanta congratulated the KIIT-DU faculty, staff members and students on the unique achievement and said, "KIIT is only a 27-year-old institute and 21-year-old deemed to be a University.
