Indian Institute of Hotel Management organised Star-Studded Carnival 2023

The 6th of October 2023, witnessed a day long celebration for ‘Carnival 2023’ of Indian Institute of Hotel Management which marked the celebration of the Freshers’ Welcome for the new batch of 2023. The carnival-like experience was designed to celebrate a defining moment of their life, the transition from high school to college and handhold students into college life by providing them with an ambience to bond with peers.

Eminent Guests from the Hospital and Hospitality sector, graced the occasion with their presence to motivate the students as they embark upon new adventures in their lives. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Guests and Heads of Institution.

The array of events like dance, ramp-walk put up by the students unfolded their talents and among the highlights of the bash were the spectacle performances by youth-focused artists Kaushik Chakraborty & Keka Ghosh.

The evening unfolded a surprise for the students with the presence of celebrity artists who took this event as a platform to showcase the upcoming movie – Dwashom Awbotar which is a groundbreaking cinematic prequel around cult characters. The college students were overjoyed to witness all time favourites Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anupam Roy and Srijeet Chatterjee. The crowd cheered the trio and the excitement knew no bounds to hear Boom Da speak and Anupam Roy singing the lines of the song – ‘Ami Shei Manushta Ar Nei’.

They definitely stole the show and their presence stole the heart of the audience. The event culminated with a DJ’s performance and lavish dinner for all students.
