The 19th edition of Kshitij, the annual techno-management symposium of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, is back to enthral students across the nation.
The fest, to be held digitally from March 4 to 6, would involve corporate simulations, robotics, olympiads, hackathons and more. Engineering and management undergraduate and postgraduate students would be brainstorming over three days and triggering their innovative and creative brain cells. Edugraph is the digital media partner for the event.
“Kshitij is not just a fest but a platform where you think, create and enjoy. Rising above the horizon and being a part of an ecosystem is what shapes the future of the nation. The series of events and competitions is open to the student community across India. This time the virtual mode will enable us to reach the maximum number of students,” said Vadthya Sanjay Kumar, a third-year Industrial and Systems Engineering student of IIT Kharagpur and the executive head of Kshitij 2022.

Sand Rover
Participants are required to design and present their remote-controlled robots via video call. Each team can have a maximum of four participants.

India Innovates — Product Innovation Challenge
A team of four members is required to present a working model of a product prototype.
Deadline: February 28, midnight
Code-o-Soccer
A team of four is required to code the actions of three robots playing soccer in a coding simulation task.

Maths Olympiad
You will have to display your mathematical skills by answering online multiple-choice questions. There will be preliminary and final rounds for this event. Deadline: March 3, midnight
Managerial Olympiad
Every participant will have to sit for online multiple-choice questions covering topics related to management skills. There will be preliminary and final rounds for this event.

Biomimicry
Participants are required to draw solutions from nature and provide answers to real-life problems. They can choose their area of research from the event guidelines. Individuals or a team of four can register.

Source Code
A coding event will be held in two rounds with a maximum of three participants per team. While the first round consists of multiple-choice questions, the second requires the participants to find coding solutions to given statement problems.

Snappit
Individual shutterbugs are required to submit their photographs on the theme Innovation for Climate Change.

Anadigix
If electronic circuits interest you then register for this two-round event. While the preliminary round is based on testing your fundamentals, the second round requires you to simulate a circuit.
