Hack4Bengal in association with the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Department of IT and Electronics, Govt. of West Bengal is going to host a 36-hour hackathon which is yet to be one of the largest hackathons to have ever been hosted in all of Eastern India.

Hack4Bengal began with the idea to bring together the top talents in the technology field and provide a platform for individuals to demonstrate their skills and work. It is a unique initiative aimed at promoting innovation in the eastern region of India. Hack4Bengal has been growing from strength to strength and its aim is to go beyond the horizons and impact millions of tech talents by providing them with a platform to enhance their skills, collaborate and create.

The first edition of Hack4Bengal was a huge success, with over 1500+ participants from across India showcasing their skills and creating innovative solutions.

About Hack4Bengal 2.0

Hack4Bengal was formed on 8 April 2021 by Sagnik Mitra, Shubham Tribedi & Manish Kumar Barnwal. This will be the Second Season of their Annual Hackathon and following the success of the first event, Hack4Bengal 2.0 is now gearing up to take place. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than before.

The event will be a 36-hour in-person hackathon which will take place from 28th April to 30th April and is targeted to host 550+ hackers, during which participants will have the opportunity to work on projects related to a range of themes and problem statements.

This year, Hack4bengal is emphasizing Project to Product Conversion through Incubation and Post-Event Mentor support to ignite the Ideas that come from the Hackathon. The problem statements will be given by WBHIDCO & West Bengal Government and will be majorly focused on problems faced by the people of West Bengal.

This year, Hack4Bengal has collaborated with the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Department of Information Technology and Electronics, Government of West Bengal to foster the hackathon spirit in West Bengal. This collaboration will provide all hackers with exposure to industry members and opportunities to interact with them.

Additionally, the event will also feature a range of workshops and talks, aimed at inspiring and educating participants. These sessions will cover topics that will help the participants enhance their skills and knowledge. Hack4Bengal 2.0 promises to provide a platform for talented individuals to come together and work on innovative solutions and network with industry experts, providing a platform for them to showcase their skills and ideas. Through their participation, participants will not only have the opportunity to showcase their skills and ideas but also to contribute to the development of their local communities.
