Summary
This Faculty Sensitization Programme was designed to aid the faculty to understand the National Credit Framework in line with the NEP 2020 for implementation at RGU.
The Assam Royal Global University, Prof. A. Srinivasan, Department of Physics IITG covered the topic ‘Pedagogical tools at UG level in line to NEP 2020’.

A Faculty Sensitisation Program on NEP 2020 aimed at making education more holistic, effective, and laying emphasis on the integration of general (academic) education, vocational education and experiential learning, was held at Royal Global University.

Throwing light on the NCrF being jointly developed by UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, DGT, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Skill Development to achieve the vision and intent of NEP, this Faculty Sensitization Programme was designed to aid the faculty to understand the National Credit Framework in line with the NEP 2020 for implementation at RGU.

Dr. Anuradha Devi, Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Royal Global University spoke on ‘Curriculum framing/casting in HEIs based on national Education Policy 2020’, Professor N.K Chrungoo, Dean, Royal School of Life Sciences shared his inputs on ‘Experiential Learning of National Credit Framework based on National Education Policy 2020’, ‘Becoming the Transformational teacher-I: Component Distribution of National Credit Framework, Structure of National Higher Education Qualification Framework’ was deliberated by Prof. Rohit Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, The Assam Royal Global University, Prof. A. Srinivasan, Department of Physics IITG covered the topic ‘Pedagogical tools at UG level in line to NEP 2020’.

Prof. A. K. Buragohain, Chancellor, Girijananda Choudhury University shared the nitty-gritty of ‘Strategies of Teaching in line to NCrF of NEP 2020’, while Prof. S.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor, Royal Global University guided the faculty on ‘Becoming the Transformational teacher-II (Roles and responsibilities, self-motivation, time management, class management, communication with the students, ethical leadership and teaching, balancing academic and administrative duties, how to make a road map for self’.

The university’s Chief Advisor, Prof. M.K. Chaudhuri, also graced the occasion with other panellists and experts.

Additionally, the Durand Cup trophy was displayed by the 15FAD, Indian Army today at The Assam Royal Global University to the awestruck and inspired family of Royalites, in their campaign across Assam to display the Durand Cup at popular and relevant places of the society.
