DPS Ruby Park has always believed in the indispensable role that co-curricular education plays, in one's development. In keeping with this tradition, the school celebrated World Music Day on 21 June 2023. The event was a memorable mosaic of myriad forms of music, from all over the world.

The programme began with the lightning of the Lamp followed by a melodious rendition of Saraswati Vandana. Next up was Raag Rang, a choir performance showcasing the ten Thaats of Hindustani Classical music.

An esraj symphony, paying homage to the Kobiguru, followed next. Tabla Lahara, left the audience in a trance while the violin trio was a tribute to the cosmopolitan Tagore.

Next up was a jugalbandi of Hindustani Classical, Western Classical, and Western Pop, solo recitals on the keyboard and violin, Chorus Cantana, a western vocal group recital; Acoustic Alliance, an ensemble of guitarists from Class 8; Serenade Spectacular, a solo vocal rendition; and Melody Masters, an assemblage of guitarists from Class 9. The event reached its culmination with a remarkable western trio, the electrifying western band, and an open music quiz, enthusiastically participated in by the audience.
