The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata hosted is 21st Medal Award Function at the institute's campus in Rajarhat on Tuesday, April 9. Keeping up to the traditions of the institute, the gorgeous event celebrated the academic excellence and achievement of MBA-24 batch students.

Distinguished guests, faculty members, proud families, and friends gathered to witness the conferral of degrees upon the graduating class of MBA-24 batch. The ceremony featured esteemed guests of honors including like Mr. Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the PM and Lt Gen RC Srikanth, VSM, COS HQ Eastern Command, who shared their words of wisdom and inspiration to the graduates as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

The ceremony was also graced by the Director, Brigadier, (Dr.) Sujay Ranjan Chaudhuri (Retd) who set the motion with his inaugural address.

In addition to the conferral of degrees, the ceremony included special awards and recognitions honoring students for their outstanding academic performance, leadership, and contributions to the college community.
The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (Formerly, National Institute of Management Calcutta) was established on 28 July 1997 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi, to conduct state-of-art Management Programme for the wards of Army personnel (80 per cent seats reserved) with an opportunity for the general candidates (20 per cent seats reserved) as well.
This year marks the introduction of seat reservations for the wards of the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. AIM Kolkata which was earlier located at Alipore (near Command Hospital, Eastern Command), shifted to a state-of-the-art, brand new campus at New Town, Rajarhat Kolkata on 27 May 2021.
