XAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The XAT 2025 examination will be conducted in an online format, consisting of four distinct sections: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA and LR), Decision-making (DM), Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA and DI), and General Knowledge (GK).
As per the information on the XAT 2025 official website, the General Knowledge (GK) scores will solely contribute to XLRI Jamshedpur's final selection process. Additionally, this year, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) assessment will occur during the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) stages.
The exam will be divided into two parts: Part 1 will last for 170 minutes, while Part 2 will be a brief 10-minute segment dedicated to GK. Consequently, the total duration of the XAT 2025 exam will be 180 minutes.
Scheduled for Sunday, January 7, 2025, the XAT will take place in 100 cities across India. This year, over 250 institutions will accept XAT scores for their postgraduate management programmes. Notably, four new associate institutes have been added: IILM University, Gurugram; IILM University, Greater Noida; IIBS, Bengaluru; and the Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi.
The mock test aims to simulate a realistic exam environment for candidates. By participating in this mock test, aspirants can familiarise themselves with the exam format, question types, and online interface, ultimately boosting their confidence ahead of the actual examination.
