A total of 1,42,694 candidates registered for the exam, with 1,13,492 candidates appearing. Out of these, 1,12,963 passed the exam, showing an increase in the pass rate to 99.53 percent compared to 99.37 percent in 2023. The number of candidates who took the exam included 79,025 men and 34,467 women.

Additionally, students from Andaman, Daman and Diu, and Jammu and Kashmir participated in the exam this year.
