The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) officially published the WB JECA (Joint Examination for Masters in Computer Applications) and WB JELET (Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry) 2024 model answer keys on its official website.
Along with releasing the answer keys, WBJEEB opened the answer key challenge window simultaneously. This allowed students to file objections against the JECA and JELET answer keys by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹500 per challenged question, which a panel of experts will then review. The challenge window will be functional till today, July 14 (up to 11.59 PM).
After completion of this procedure, the final answer key and result will be prepared and declared.
Steps to Submit Objections
- Visit the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Select the exam you have appeared in (JECA/JELET) from the ‘Examinations’ dropdown.
- Click on the ‘model answer key challenge’ link displayed on the homepage.
- Enter the login credentials (application number and password).
- Choose the question you want to challenge and select the correct answer.
- Save the challenge and proceed with the necessary document upload.
- Pay the required processing fee.
- Download and take a printout of the copy for future reference.
“No challenge will be reviewed if the fee payment is not successful ”, the notification additionally highlighted.
JELET and JECA were conducted on June 29 and 30, 2024 respectively, in a single session from 11 AM to 1 PM.
