The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a reserve list of candidates for the Engineering Services (Mains) Examination, 2023. The list includes the names and roll numbers of 81 candidates and is now available on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
According to the commission, these 81 candidates have been recommended based on a requisition from the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications. The list comprises 58 candidates from the unreserved category, 17 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), and six from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
The results for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2023 were announced on November 22, 2023. A total of 401 candidates were recommended for appointment in order of merit at that time.
The Department of Telecommunications will communicate directly with the recommended candidates regarding further steps.
Candidates whose results are provisional will not receive an offer of appointment until their original documents have been verified by the commission.
UPSC has emphasised that the provisional status will only be valid for three months from the date of the reserve list's declaration. If a provisional candidate fails to submit the required documents within this timeframe, their candidature will be cancelled, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
