DU Spot Round-I Admissions for 2024 Underway: Schedule and Important Deadlines

The University of Delhi (DU) has officially announced the schedule for Spot Round-I of undergraduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic session. Starting today, September 18, candidates interested in securing a seat in DU’s undergraduate programmes can register through the official admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in.

• Display of vacant seats: 10AM, September 18, 2024
• Application window: From 10AM, September 18 to 11.59PM, September 19, 2024
• Declaration of seat allocations: 3PM, September 21, 2024
• Seat acceptance: From 3PM, September 21 to 11.59PM, September 22, 2024
• Verification and approval by colleges: From 3PM, September 21 to 4.59PM, September 23, 2024
• Last date for online fee payment: 4.59 PM, September 24, 2024

Candidates who have applied for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate courses but are not currently admitted to any DU college as of 5PM on September 17, 2024, are eligible to participate in this spot admission round.

Key Instructions

To participate, candidates must opt for 'Spot Admission' on their dashboard and will only be able to select available Program + College combinations based on the vacant seats under their category.

It is important to note that once a seat is allocated in the spot round, admission to that seat is mandatory. If a candidate fails to accept the seat, they will forfeit their eligibility for further admissions under CSAS(UG)-2024. Additionally, options for seat upgrades or withdrawals will not be available during spot admission rounds.
