The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2024 results. Candidates who appeared for the exam on June 22 and June 23 can now check their results on the official UPSC website. The result is declared in the form of a merit list containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will be called for the Personality Test/Interview.
How to Download
- Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the 'Examinations' tab and select 'Active Examinations.'
- Look for the ‘Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination’ link and click on it.
- Select the written result link.
- The result will be available in a PDF format. Download the PDF and search for your roll number to check your status.
Shortlisted candidates who find their names on the list must now complete and submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF) online as per the schedule notified by the UPSC. The DAF is a crucial document that contains essential information about the candidate and is required for the interview process. However, it must be noted that the shortlisting is provisional. The Commission will conduct a thorough verification of the eligibility and suitability of each candidate, and then release the schedule for the Interview/Personality Test in due course.
The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam is a national-level competitive examination conducted by the UPSC to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Geologist, Geophysicist, Hydrogeologist, and Chemist in various government organisations. The exam comprises three stages - Preliminary, Main, and Personality Test (Interview).
