NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration Begins - Find Application Guide and Key Dates Inside

The much-awaited NEET UG 2024 counselling process has officially commenced today, August 14, 2024. Aspirants who have successfully cleared the NEET UG exam can now register for the counselling process on the official website (mcc.nic.in).

The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds followed by a stray round, ensuring that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to secure a seat in their desired medical institution.

To streamline the counselling process, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a detailed schedule for all the phases.

Round 1 Important Dates

• Registration - August 14 to August 20, 2024 (noon)
• Payment - August 14 to August 20, 2024 (3 PM)
• Choice Filling - August 16 to August 20, 2024 (11.55 PM)
• Choice Locking - August 20, 2024 (4 PM to 11.55 PM)
• Seat Allotment Result - August 23, 2024
• Reporting to Allotted College - August 24 to August 29, 2024

Steps to Register for NEET UG Counselling 2024

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in.
2. Register: Create a new account using your NEET UG roll number, application number, and other required details.
3. Fill in the Application Form: Complete the online application form with personal, academic, and contact information.
4. Upload Documents: Upload necessary documents such as NEET UG admit card, scorecard, and other required documents.
5. Pay Counselling Fee: Submit the prescribed counselling fee through the online payment gateway.
6. Lock Choices: Carefully select and lock your preferred colleges and courses.

Candidates must register and complete the choice-filling process within the specified dates.

The seat allotment will be based on the merit list, choices filled by candidates, and availability of seats.

After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to the allotted college for document verification and admission formalities.
